Modeling and simulation of light guide boards for a photocatalytic deodorizing system In this investigation, we have carried out the modeling of light guide boards that were able to operate effectively as a photocatalysts. Two different types of guide boards were developed: one made of a UV-transparent acrylic board with V-shaped grooves on both sides, and the other made of a similar acrylic board with a dot pattern silkscreen-printed on one side. Light beam simulations were conducted on these boards and prototypes were designed and constructed based on the modeling. Abstract
