Abstract

The kinetics of heat absorption in thermal decomposition of commercial ammonium nitrate-calcium (magnesium) carbonate mixture and a model mixture of ammonium nitrate and calcium carbonate was studied. Rate equations of the processes and temperature dependences of constants in these equations were determined. The heats of these reactions were calculated.
