Of the contributors to the 1996 volume, only two are amongst the authors of chapters in Cleaner fish biology and aquaculture applications: Jim Treasurer himself and the late Richard FitzGerald. It is therefore quite fitting that Cleaner fish biology and aquaculture applications has a dedication to Richard FitzGerald. In this new book, wrasse retain a central position and have not been overshadowed and usurped by the lumpsucker (Cyclopterus lumpus) that has become the focus of much attention as a cleaner fish in recent years.
