A procedure is proposed for studying acid decomposition of solid materials with the use of ion-selective electrodes, with the experimental data recorded and processed with a personal computer. Variation of the H3O+, F-, and Ca2 + concentrations in reaction of fluorapatite concentrate with nitric, sulfuric, and orthophosphoric acids and also the effect of particle size on the rate of solid phase decomposition were studied.
