Instructions for Authors Please provide a short abstract of 100 to 250 words. The abstract should not be written in the first person and should not contain any undefined abbreviations, mathematical formulae or unspecified references. INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS 223 Key Words Please provide a maximum of 6 key words or short phrases in alphabetical order. Abbreviations Abbreviations and their explanations should be collected in an alphabetical list. Give only those that are not familiar and/or commonly used. Section headings First-, second-, third- and fourth-order headings should be clearly distinguishable but not numbered. Appendices Supplementary material should be collected in an Appendix and placed before the Notes and References. Notes The use of notes should be avoided. However, if essential, use endnotes rather than footnotes. Notes should be indicated by consecutive superscript numbers in the text. A source reference note should be indicated by means of an asterisk after the title. This note should be placed at the bottom of the first page. Cross-referencing In the text, a reference identified by means of an author’s name should be followed by the date of the reference in parentheses and page number(s) where appropriate.
