The possibility of utilizing disperse spent catalyst, a product of petroleum refining, is shown. The catalyst can serve as a finely divided admixture to heat-resistant concretes based on liquid glass binders. The mechanical and acoustic properties are studied for five compositions of the concrete with different content of the spent catalyst. The results obtained are compared with the properties of heat-resistant concrete with a finely divided chamotte admixture.
