Trivial name: rDNA ITS of Phalaenopsis mariae Description: ITS region of ribosomal DNA lying between 17S and 25S rRNA genes was cloned from a wild species, Phalaenopsis mariae, with 213 bp in ITS1, 161 bp in 5.8S rRNA gene and 253 bp in ITS2. Nucleotide sequence of ITS region in Phalaenopsis mariae shows 66.4% and 63.7% identity with Solanum lycopersicon and Populus deltoides, respectively.
