Fluoxetine Reactions 1680, p145 - 2 Dec 2017 Paranoia: case report A 28-year-old woman developed paranoia during treatment with fluoxetine [route, time to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. The woman, who had depression and anxiety, started receiving treatment with fluoxetine for three months with variable compliance. Later on, she developed paranoia, which worsened with an increase in the fluoxetine dosage from 10 to 20mg. Author comment: "Fluoxetine may also result in the development of paranoia via norepinephrine modulation.
