A novel conception of the construction of a double-circulation scheme of regeneration of the heat of flue gases in glassmaking furnaces is proposed. The parameters of the design of single-circulation and double-circulation regenerators are presented. The influence of the velocity of the fumes on the efficiency of regenerative heat exchange is demonstrated. The feasibility of using a double-circulation scheme of regeneration of the heat of fumes in glassmaking furnaces is evaluated.
