In order to solve this problem, a novel and general processing (heterogeneous nucleation-and-growth processing) was used to prepare monodispersed composite coating spheres. Composite coating spheres with silica spheres/titania shell structures were fabricated by heterogeneous nucleation-and-growth processing. Effects of titania content in composite coating particles versus concentration of tetrabutyl titanate, pH value, reaction time and reaction temperature were studied.
