A diffusion-kinetic model of sublimation of substances in a vacuum is presented. The model defines two regions of the evaporation process depending on temperature: evaporation in the kinetic and diffusion control. The model was verified in experiments with benzoic acid and naphthalene by calculation of the sublimation rate of Zn, Co, V, and W, and by the known values of α.
