Epirubicin/ifosfamide

Epirubicin/ifosfamide Reactions 1680, p128 - 2 Dec 2017 Marrow suppression and mucosal ulceration: case report A 29-year-old woman developed marrow suppression and mucosal ulceration during treatment with epirubicin and ifosfamide. The woman was scheduled to receive four cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy with ifosfamide and epirubicin [routes and dosages not stated] for pancreatic liposarcoma. The first cycle of the chemotherapy was initiated in July 2015. However, she developed severe chemotherapy associated adverse reactions (ADRs) such as mucosal ulceration and marrow suppression [duration of treatments to reactions onset and outcomes not stated]. The ADRs resulted in unwillingness to continue the medications. But, the woman decline to change her first-line chemotherapeutic treatment. She later had recurrence of liposarcoma and the chemotherapy was switched to apatinib.
