Electrochemically Deposited Zinc-Nickel Alloys

Electrochemically Deposited Zinc-Nickel Alloys The mechanism of formation of a zinc-nickel alloy under the conditions of normal and anomalous electrochemical codeposition (accompanied by enrichment of the deposit with nickel or zinc) were studied. The manner in which the composition, structure, and properties of the zinc-nickel alloy vary with the electrolyte composition (nature of ligands and molar ratio of codeposited metals) and deposition conditions (potential and current density) was determined. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Russian Journal of Applied Chemistry Springer Journals

Abstract

The mechanism of formation of a zinc-nickel alloy under the conditions of normal and anomalous electrochemical codeposition (accompanied by enrichment of the deposit with nickel or zinc) were studied. The manner in which the composition, structure, and properties of the zinc-nickel alloy vary with the electrolyte composition (nature of ligands and molar ratio of codeposited metals) and deposition conditions (potential and current density) was determined.
