Electrochemical modification of the carbon fiber surface Technological process for electrochemical modification of the surface of carbon fibers was developed. This process makes it possible to raise by 20% the tensile strength of a carbon-fiber-reinforced composite material based on these fibers as compared with the strength of composite materials with untreated carbon fibers. Abstract

Technological process for electrochemical modification of the surface of carbon fibers was developed. This process makes it possible to raise by 20% the tensile strength of a carbon-fiber-reinforced composite material based on these fibers as compared with the strength of composite materials with untreated carbon fibers.
