Morphology of Saplings and Peculiarities of Seed Production of Pinus sylvestris Macrostrobiles Affected by Biatorella CankerKhvoinye Boreal. Zony, 23
Fungal canker caused by Biatorella difformis [Fr.] Rehm. has a deleterious effect on the productivity of Scots pine. Affected trees are characterized by decreased biometric parameters of shoots and needles and impaired pollen germination and tube growth. Their pollen has reduced contents of reserve nutrients and physiologically active substances.
