Precision Agric (2008) 9:231 DOI 10.1007/s11119-008-9079-8 John V. Stafford Published online: 3 September 2008 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC 2008 Dear Readers, The 6th European Conference on Precision Agriculture took place on the island of Skiathos, Greece in June 2007. Of all the many papers presented at that conference, a number have been updated and added to with new results and analyses. Some are published in this special issue. Special issues have been a feature of the last several ECPA confer- ences and it is a format that we expect to follow with the biennial US conferences starting with 9 ICPA held in Denver in July 2008. With very recent research being reported at these conferences, it is good to be able to ‘harvest’ the results in papers suitable for publication in PRAG. J. V.
