Thermoradiation ceramic coatings are developed for some stainless and high-temperature steels. The degree of spectral blackness of the coatings is studied for the wavelength range of 0.75-9.0μm at 293 K and in high-temperature heating for selected wavelengths. The study has made it possible to obtain coatings with a quite high degree of blackness for use of the coatings for the purpose of intensifying radiative heat transfer in the near-infrared spectral range.
