Until now, only two records of
reported: a single specimen was found in the northern
Sea of Okhotsk  and two specimens (a male and a
female) were found on Shikotan Island at a depth of
20–25 m [2–4].
According to the available literature [1, 2, 4, 6], in
Russian Far-Eastern seas the family Lampropidae is
represented by two genera,
