K. Ershov UDC 539.184 Keywords: correlation of radial distributions, stabilization of relativistic effects, destabilization. A study of the electronic structure of atoms and peculiarities of this structure is one of the main problems of atomic physics and quantum chemistry [1, 2]. In it was shown that correlations of the radial distributions <r> and –1 <r > of the electrons of the 1s , 2s , and 3s shells of intermediate and heavy atoms can serve as an indicator of 1/2 1/2 1/2 relativistic effects and allow one to determine the limiting values of the nuclear charges Z, starting from which these effects are observed. At the same time, Т. K. Sato et al. emphasize that the 2p and 2p shells manifest relativistic 1/2 3/2 effects differently, specifically, the 2p shell stabilizes relativistic effects, and the 2p shell destabilizes these effects. 1/2 3/2 –1 In connection with this, it
