This special issue aims to investigate the impact of the adoption of advanced and innovative Computational Intelligence techniques in multimedia and industrial applications. Authors are expected to discuss some representative applications to present inspiring models to demonstrate how computational intelligence could be implemented to solve multimedia computing and industrial issues and how these issues could be analyzed, processed, and illustrated by compu- tational intelligence.
