Thus far, the nucleotide se- quences of the 3 -terminal region of the RNA genomes of the three strains of EAPV have been determined [5, 6]. This report describes the ﬁrst full genomic sequence of the EAPV-Amami-O-shima strain (EAPV-AO) from hybrid passionfruit. Source of the virus material The viral isolate, designated PWV-AO , and recently re-identiﬁed as EAPV-AO , was propagated in hybrid passionfruit (Passiﬂora edulis × P. edulis f. ﬂavi- carpa) cv. “Summer queen”.
