Comoviruses comparison with RaMV-J. have two positive-, single-stranded genomic RNAs (RNA1 RaMV-CA (ATCC PV-138) was originally isolated and RNA2), which are encapsidated into separate spherical from infected leaves of turnip (Brassica rapa) in Califor- virions. RaMV mainly infects cruciferous plants, unlike nia, USA [1]. It was propagated in radish (Raphanus most members of the genus Comovirus, which predomi- sativus) and purified as described [8].
