Chromosome localization of two new mammalian kinases related to yeast and fly chromosome segregation-regulators

Chromosome localization of two new mammalian kinases related to yeast and fly chromosome... Brief Data Reports Ma Geqqafi n ...,,,anReeenome Mammalian Genome 9, 86-96 (1998). © Springer-Verlag New York Inc. 1998 Molecular reagents: The hybridization probe used to map Stk5 Chromosome localization of two new was a 0.25-kb fragment derived from the 5'UTR regions of the mammalian kinases related to yeast and fly gene [2]. The probe for Stk6 was a 0.35-kb HindIIllPstI fragment chromosome segregation-regulators comprising the extreme N-terminal coding region [3]. C56BL/6J and Allele detection: M. spretus DNAs were digested with several enzymes and analyzed by Southern blot hybridization Ganesan Gopalan, Debra J. Gilbert, Neal G. Copeland, for informative restriction fragment length polymorphisms Nancy A. Jenkins, Peter J. Donovan (RFLPs) with the above-mentioned mouse probes. The probe for Stk5 detected major HindIIl fragments of 6.3 and 1.3 kb in C57BL/ Mammalian Genetics Laboratory, ABL-Basic Research Program, NCI-Frederick Research and Development Center, P.O. Box B, 6J (B) and 5.0 and 1.3 kb in M. spretus (S) DNA. The probe for Frederick, Maryland 21702, USA Stk6 detected major HincII fragments of 3.1 and 2.5 kb (B) and 5.1 and 2.5 kb M. spretus (S) DNA.
