Abstract

Chemical modification of polyolefins (polypropylene, high-density polyethylene) with mixtures of isocyanates and ε-caprolactone was studied. Chemical transformations occurring in the course of modification of polyolefins with a binary modifying system containing 2,4-toluene diisocyanate and ε-caprolactone in the presence of sodium caprolactamate catalyst were studied using model systems based on α-olefins.
