Lu, X. Bai, Q. Y. Zeng, 1,2 and P. C. Lin Tinospora is a genus of Menispermaceae with more than 30 different species. They are found all over the Old World tropics, and six known species are widespread over China. Tinospora sinensis (Lour.) Merr. classified as a Tinospora plant of Menispermaceae, is a folk herb often used to cure punch injuries and rheumatism [1–3]. There is little research on the CO extract of T. sinensis (Lour.) Merr. Research into optimizing the extraction technology, methods for quality control, and the antibacterial activity of the extract has not been published. The goals of this study are to analyze the chemical composition and antimicrobial activity of a CO extract of the rattan of T. sinensis (Lour.) Merr. from HuZhu Country Qinghai Province in China. In this study, the tested strains were Micrococcus luteus [CMCC(B) 28001], Escherichia coli [CMCC(B) 44102], Staphylococcus aureus [CMCC(B) 26003], Streptococcus hemolyticus- [CMCC(B) 32210], Bacillus subtilis [CMCC(B) 63501], Pseudomonas aeruginosa [CMCC(B) 10104], Salmonella paratyphy B [CMCC(B) 50094], Candida albicans [CMCC(F)
