Abstract

In this paper, dark energy models of the universe filled with wet dark fluid are constructed in the frame work of LRS Bianchi type-II space-time in General Theory of Relativity. A new equation of state modeled on the equation of state p = γ ( ρ − ρ ∗ ) $p = \gamma ( \rho - \rho_{*} )$ , which can describe liquid including water, is used. The exact solutions of Einstein’s field equations are obtained in quadrature form and the models corresponding to the cases γ = 0 $\gamma = 0$ and γ = 1 $\gamma = 1$ are discussed in details.
