Sex Roles, Vol. 37, Nos. 5/6, 1997 EDITOR PSYCHOLOGY OF WOMEN QUARTERLY A search committee is now seeking nominations for the position of editor of Psychology of Women Quarterly, Psychology of Women Quarterly is the premier scientific journal of Division 35 publishing empirical research, criti- cal reviews, theoretical articles, brief reports, and invited book reviews re- lated to the psychology of women and gender. It is received by over 5000 members and affiliates as well as several hundred libraries. The editorship is rotated on a 5-year cycle, with one preliminary year in training. Former editors have included Georgia Babladeis, Nancy Hen- ley, Janet Hyde, and Judy Worell. The new editor will be appointed in January 1998, to begin the preliminary training year with the current editor, Nancy Russo. Financial support for the management of the editorial office is provided by the publisher, Cambridge University Press. Successful candidates will have an active record of publishing in the area of feminism and psychology of women. The committee will start reviewing nominations immediately and a final pool will be identified by October. Self and other nominations are welcome. To nominate candidates prepare a brief statement of one page or less in support of each nomination. If self-nomi- nating, please include five copies of a cover letter, an editorial vision state- ment, a vita, and 3-5 names of persons who could serve as references.
