Abstract

A method to synchronize the streams based on a small volume of the total memory with the hard-ware support of synchronization primitives for on-crystal systems, which is implemented for the DSP multi-core cluster, is considered. The solution for the scaling problem involving the application of the distributed synchronization buffer is suggested, and the method to increase the efficiency of the hardware synchronization based on the use of FIFO-type queues is suggested.
