These reactions were carried out under microwave irradiation using a catalytic amount of La(OTf) in a short reaction time. This procedure has the advantages of high conversions with excellent chemoselectivity. Graphical Abstract The attractive features of this methodology are simple procedure, green reaction, reusability and high efficiency of the catalyst and easy workability. & Madhvesh Pathak firstname.lastname@example.org School of Advanced Science, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu 632014, India Department of Chemistry, Sri Venkateswara Degree and PG College, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh 516003, India 123 7534 B.
