Alendronic acid/risedronic acid Reactions 1680, p23 - 2 Dec 2017 Atypical femoral fractures: 4 case reports In a study, four women (aged 65 78 years) were described, who developed atypical femoral fractures following treatment with alendronic acid [alendronate; 3 patients] and risedronic acid [risedronate; 1 patient] for osteoporosis [routes, dosages, duration of treatments to reaction onset and outcome not stated].
