This article is an open access publication Dear Reader, As we reach the end of the first year of publication for PharmacoEconomics - Open, we wish to reflect on what has been a very successful start for the journal, and to thank all those who have contributed their time and effort to guarantee the high quality of our content. The journal has now published over 60 articles, an excellent achievement for its first year. Moreover, it is already abstracted/indexed in Google Scholar, DOAJ, EBSCO Discovery Service, OCLC, Research Papers in Economics (RePEc) and Summon by ProQuest, and is currently being assessed by PMC. With the successful launch of PharmacoEconomics - Open, Adis now has four journals in the health economics and outcomes research area: PharmacoEconomics Applied Health Economics and Health Policy The Patient: Patient-Centered Outcomes Research PharmacoEconomics - Open We thank the authors who have contributed articles to PharmacoEconomics - Open since its launch. The skill and dedication of all authors are critical to the publication of the journal.
