This article is an open access publication Dear Reader, As we reach the end of the ﬁrst year of publication for PharmacoEconomics - Open, we wish to reﬂect on what has been a very successful start for the journal, and to thank all those who have contributed their time and effort to guarantee the high quality of our content. The journal has now published over 60 articles, an excellent achievement for its ﬁrst year. Moreover, it is already abstracted/indexed in Google Scholar, DOAJ, EBSCO Discovery Service, OCLC, Research Papers in Economics (RePEc) and Summon by ProQuest, and is currently being assessed by PMC.
