1899 was the year when the description of struma ovarii was given for the very first time. This explanation was given by Boettlin. It was described as the rare ovarian tumor compromising thyroid tissue (Utsunomiya et al. in Clin Nucl Med 28(9):725–727, 2003). A lot of patients of struma ovarii present concurrently with thyroid cancer, and few cases have also been reported along with serous cystadenoma of ovary. Hereby, we present a rare case of struma ovarii in one ovary with steroid cell tumor in the other ovary.
