To elucidate the character of binding of water and hydroxy groups with a substance, the activation energy and the order of the dehydration reaction of an inorganic electron and ion exchanger based on zirconium(IV), molybdenum(VI), and silicon(IV) were calculated from the weight loss curve in the maximal loss region. To determine the structure of the synthesized electron and ion exchanger, its physicochemical properties were studied by X-ray phase analysis and electron microscopy.
