H is research on p hotobiological systems has inspired many s cientists around t he world to pursue res earch in related areas. He p ioneered i n the early development of ash-photolysis methods and discovered s econd-order t riplet decay k inetics (‘T T-A nnihilation’) in chlorophylls and po rphyrins. H is research contributions and ach ievements are included i n his biography. H e has been a Fulbright V isiting Professor at Hebrew U niversity, NIH Fell ow at University of C alifornia, San D iego, and G uggenheim F ellow at Weizmann In stitute. He co ntinues to maintain an act ive research career at Brandeis University while mantaining coll aborative ties with researchers around the world.
