A phenolic antioxidant was synthesized by the reaction of N,N-dimethyl(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl) amine with cyclohexanone. The infl uence of temperature, reactant ratio, pressure, and time on the yield of the product, 2,6-bis(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)cyclohexanone, was examined. Abstract

A phenolic antioxidant was synthesized by the reaction of N,N-dimethyl(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl) amine with cyclohexanone.
