The high regard of the website to ward district nursing is evident by reading the quote located on the first page of the section dedicated to the Queen’s Nurses’ Magazine, “District nurses were the best invention of the 19th Century.” Although the website may not gener- ally declare such a clear bias, it does demonstrate the value placed on district nurses by the public and many in the medical profession.
