Reactions 1704, p367 - 2 Jun 2018 Hyperbilirubinaemia: case report In a retrospective study of 200 patients, a patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed hyperbilirubinaemia during treatment with voriconazole. The patient, who had neutropenia and haematological malignancies, started receiving anti-fungal prophylaxis with oral voriconazole tablet 200mg twice a day. Subsequently, the patient developed hyperbilirubinaemia, and voriconazole was discontinued [duration of treatment to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. Author comment: "Eleven patients had to discontinue voriconazole. . .hyperbilirubinemia (one patient)". "Symptomatic adverse events were significantly more common in the voriconazole group."
