1. Des traductions allemandes des formes A et B du questionnaire 16 PF ont été examinées par de différents psychologues et puis données à des échantillons de 1800 et 1000 individus. Les deux échantillons se composaient des adultes masculins en moyenne à l'âge de 25,5 et 27,7 ans et d'un niveau culturel différent. Pour chaque échantillon on a calculé des intercorrélations de 32 échelles et on a procédé à l'analyse factorielle. Pour obtenir une structure simple au maximum oblique on a procédé aux rotations des facteurs. 2. Il en résultait 19 facteurs dans l'une échantillon et 18 facteurs dans l'autre desquels 16 respectivement 15 ont été signifiants sur le niveau d'un pourcent. Par leurs échelles remarquables les premiers 16 facteurs dans chaque échantillon se présentaient comme les facteurs de personnalité habituels du 16 PF. 3. L'accord des patterns faotoriels entre les deux échantillons et entre chaque échantillon avec une échantillon américaine plus nouvelle de 606 hommes et femmes en moyenne à l'âge de 35 ans a été examiné systématiquement avec le coefficient de congruence de Burt. Malgré les différences (genre, age) entre l'échantillon américain et l'échantillon allemand leg congruences étaient relativement hauts à peu d'exeptions près. Les congruences américains-allemands étaient aussi bien que lesquels entre les deux échantillons allemands. 4. C, E, O, et Q4 se présentent comme des facteurs moins faibles sur la base du dénombrement de l'hyperplan, les variables remarquables ou le coefficient de congruence. A ce sujet on a construit des hypothèses qui demandent des recherches supplémentaires.
