The velocity of second sound in 3He-4He mixtures: A revision

Abstract

Greywall has recently proposed a new temperature scale for the 3He melting curve thermometer. A reanalysis of the velocity of second sound in 3He-4He mixtures using the data of Greywall and Paalanen with this new temperature scale shows that the interaction between 3He quasiparticles is now independent of concentration.
