Introduction to superconductivity
The interaction between transport current and flux spots in the intermediate state of a superconductor is investigated. It is shown that the force on the flux spots depends on factors such as current lead configuration, and it is therefore not possible to define a unique “flow resistivity” for type-I superconductors. The conclusions are supported by experimental evidence.
