The effects of tungsten doping on the tin Chevrel-phase compound SnMo6S8 We have studied the effects of doping a Chevrel compound by investigating W x Sn1−x Mo6S8, wherex=0.00-0.20. An unusual peak in the dependence of the superconducting transition temperatureT c on the dopant concentration levelx has been observed.
