Regorafenib will be available for routine funding within the NHS at the discount agreed with Bayer in a confidential patient access scheme, for adults with GIST with disease progression on, or who were intolerant to, previous imatinib and sunitinib therapy, and have an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0 to 1. According to NICE, regorafenib meets the criteria for a life-extending end-of-life treatment, and has an estimated cost-effectiveness ratio of £44 000 per QALY gained compared with best supportive care. * National Health Service McKee S.
