Abstract The main characteristics of an acoustic resonance developing in a channel flow past flat bluff bodies with different trailing-edge shapes have been experimentally examined. It is shown that the range of flow velocities at which the resonance is observed is wider for a model with sharp trailing edge compared to a plate with blunt trailing edge.
