The dependence of shell height and body weight on age was studied in Buccinum osagawai. The following conclusions were made based on the analysis: growth of B. osagawai occurs during the entire lifecycle. The maturity age is 3 years. The body weight increment reaches the highest values at 9 years of age. During the maturation period the estimated shell height amounts to nearly 50% of the largest size (114 mm), and body weight equals nearly 12% of the heaviest representative (168 g) in the sample.
