For this purpose, controlling the emission of hazardous waste is easier than puriﬁcation of the products or waste treatment. Oxidation of organic compounds is a routine method for the synthesis of a plethora of valuable building blocks and derivatives in chemistry . In this regard, hydrogen peroxide (H O ) is a promising selection since it is a cheap and 2 2 commercially available oxidant, and more importantly, water is the sole by-product of the oxidation reaction. Compared to molecular oxygen or air, the oxidation reaction using H O is more controllable . However, H O is known as a ‘‘lazy’’ 2 2 2 2 oxidant in organic synthesis.
