The results of experimental studying glue-mechanical shaft–sleeve joints using anaerobic sealants are presented. Quantitative estimates of the quality of the surface layers are obtained for mating parts, which allows assessing the values of the waviness of shaft and sleeve surfaces. A technique for determining the waviness of cylindrical joints is described. The effect of the press fit on mechanical strength of the shaft–sleeve joint is established depending on the properties of an anaerobic sealant.
