Production of Uranium by Underground Leaching Method [in Russian]
A reagent-free electrochemical method for separating ammonium polynitrate from acidic commodity desorbates, obtained from underground leaching of uranium with sorption reprocessing of the productive solutions, is investigated. The optimal technological parameters of the process are determined. Investigations and full-scale tests established that the method developed will make it possible to increase the quality of the separated yellow cake and decrease the operating costs for obtaining 1 kg of uranium in finished product by 20% compared with chemical deposition of ammonium polyuranate.
