While most of the contributors have published on closely related topics before, to bring them together around the theme of dance and creativity in DMT—well, it’s as though the body of knowledge just had a growth spurt. Recognizing dance as the root of what we do and foregrounding the art form rel- ative to other aspects of the work, the book commits to the elements which both situate DMT as a creative arts therapy and distinguish it from other creative arts therapies, and from other mind/body integrated therapeutic methods as well.
