Architects, Urban Planners and Further Development of the 3D City Model Kassel In the last years, 3D city models have become an important topic in the Geoinformation Departments of many German cities. The city of Kassel began building such a database more than 10 years ago. The most important application area of the now quite extensive database is the support of urban development processes as well as a visually sustainable improvement in the preparation and integration of construction projects. Abstract

In the last years, 3D city models have become an important topic in the Geoinformation Departments of many German cities. The city of Kassel began building such a database more than 10 years ago.
