A Critique Of Neoclassical Macroeconomics
[This chapter is an empirical reading of the impact of Israeli policies on each sector of the West Bank’s economy, especially its bearing upon the labour market. Before addressing colonialism as the cause of migration, this sector by sector survey historicises the practice of the occupation and puts into relief its repressive measures that curtail Palestinian development. Its findings are relevant as they lay bare the degradation to which the local economy has been subjected and show that the dismantlement of the social formation infuses insecurity and serves as part of the regional imperialist offensive.]
